1995年获东南大学博士学位,长期从事动力工程及工程热物理学科领域的教学和科研工作,重庆市首届学术技术带头人后备人选,重庆市高校中青年骨干教师;中国电机工程学会高级会员,重庆市电机工程学会学术委员。现为太阳成集团tyc4633教授,博士生导师。

作为课题负责人完成国家自然科学基金项目5项,主持和参加省部级科研项目及与企业合作科研项目20余项;获省部级科技进步奖和教学成果奖各一项;著有学术专著《热力系统动力学及应用》(科学出版社,1997),在国内外学术刊物等上发表论文80余篇。获发明专利授权7项。
